Flatbush Students Participate in VEI CEO Day

Teddy Beyda, Shlomo Husni, and Morris Mamiye represent Yeshivah of Flatbush at VEI CEO Day
Earlier this year, some of the students in our VEI (Virtual Enterprises International) class took part in a CEO conference in Manhattan. VEI is a program in which high school students across the nation each own a virtual company and interact with each other in a virtual economy. The Flatbush students attending the conference were the the executives of T corporation, the Yeshivah of Flatbush company for VEI. Employees at companies such as AIG and IBM spoke to the students about risk management, the insurance industry, and technological advancements throughout the workplace. The CEOs of every company were asked to deliver a 30 second pitch of their company, and were also asked to analyze possible liabilities within their companies. Overall, the CEO day was an extremely educational and engaging program. ~Shlomo Husni, Class of 2017
