Choices Commission Visits Elementary School

On April 4th, the Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman High School Choices Commission visited the elementary school to talk about transitions with the 7th and 8th grades. The two programs were kicked off with a panel of students each giving a brief description of their own personal growth experiences and overcoming challenging situations. The Choices commissioners then answered questions about changes the students will face as they enter their teenage years. Topics such as the importance of kindness in friendships, maintaining good reputations, resisting peer pressure and finding your true identity were addressed. The 7th and 8th grade students were bursting with questions and remained engaged throughout the discussion.
