Cooking for a Cause with Kids of Courage

This week, eighth grade parents Mrs. Adele Laboz and Mrs. Jacqueline Marcos, mothers of Jack and Isaac, taught us how to prepare black bean empanads.This event was generously sponsored by them. At the same time- under the direction of Mrs Sara Ovadia, the Tzeddakah Commission decorated cookies with children from Kids of Courage. All the food went to the SBH pantry.
Students learn to prepare a variety of entrees, dinners, and desserts while participating. All of the food prepared in these events are sent to needy families who can then enjoy delicious homemade dinners. For more information about this commission, read this previous post:
