Poetry Slam @ Kohelet 2013!

On Tuesday, May 7th, the poetry slam group drove 2.5 hours to the Kohelet School in Philadelphia to participate in a poetry slam. On the eve of Yom Yerushalayim, the theme of the slam was based around Yesrushalayim and students were invited to write and perform two poems: a free verse and a Haiku. Jacob Tessone, Fanya Donin, Aliza Kantarowitz, and Joy Feinberg represented Yeshivah of Flatbush in their sixth competition in the past two years. We are proud to announce that all of our students
brought home awards.
